Bakels Buttacake Recipe
This simple but super delicious buttacake recipe is so easy to follow, you will want to keep making more. This recipe can be used for any type of cake or cupcake.
YIELD
8" Round x 4" High Cake | 24-30 Cupcakes INGREDIENTS
1Kg Bakels Buttacake Mix
4 x 70g eggs
450ml Water
METHOD
Preheat oven to 180 degrees
Line baking tin
Add all ingredients into a mixing bowl
Beat on low for 1 minute, scrape down sides of bowl
Beat on medium for 7-8 minutes
Pour into lined baking pan and bake until skewer comes out clean (Start checking at 45 minutes for 8" round and 18 mins for cupcakes)
Allow to cool in pan and then upturn onto a cooling rack
HINTS
Be careful not to overcook, cooking for longer at a lower temperature can help with this.
Cooking times vary for larger tins and cooking times vary with ovens.
Always grease & paper line tins.
